IS A MILITARY ADMINISTRATION THE ANSWER???

When it comes to handling state power,Nigerian soldiers do not have a good record therefore bear a very terrible image before the Nigerian people. Surprisingly, since the failure of the present administration to take due charge of the country, take out the boko haram sect and the evident uncontrollable greed of the politicians, few Nigerians have been suggesting that the military come back and handle state power. Is the military really an option?
For those who were there when the soldiers were in power it wasn't a pleasing experience. They had no respect for the constitution, rule of law or fundamental human rights. Worst of all,the media were not given their deserved freedom to reveal information to the members of the public or criticize the government. There were series of killing of media men and activists such as the killing of ken saro wiwa and Dele giwa done by Abacha's and Babaginda's administration respectively. Facts even point at the fact that the military administrators in Nigeria's history looted the treasury the most. Part of their disrespect of the law is the cancellation of the June 12 1993 election by the BABAGINDA administration. It was the only time voting cut across the Nigerian tribes but the military regime canceled it for reasons best known to them. Soldiers generally do not have sense of administration, they are trained for wars.
At the same time believe what you want to believe, the military remain the best option for us. Although,no military administration has ever been successful in Nigeria but so many countries have experienced successful military regimes such as Japan in 1868,Egypt under Nasser,Peru in 1968 and the very one we know,Ghana. In all the above listed countries, the military captured state power and didn't even need the help of mobilised populace to produce a successful revolution which destroyed the power of the untouchable economic class. I wonder who else can lead a successful revolution in Nigeria if not the military. I quite understand the fears of the people due to ugly experiences in the past. The soldiers in those days had little education which saw likes of Babaginda and Abacha grip power but now that is no more, soldiers now have good education. Should we even conclude that no military regime will be a success in Nigeria just because we haven't seen the good soldiers in power? Imagine if Babaginda came under a civilian government, would he have been any better? People decide what they want to be. Imagine Goodluck Jonathan being a military administrator, he would still be the same slow, weak and senseless idiot he is. I don't think its very reasonable to give up on the military just because of some rogues who took power in the military.

Another question i would like to ask is,how much true development have we even  seen during the all-honoured civilian government? The military administrators were known to be dictators so what do you call Jonathan? A democrat?Just because he was elected?Definitely not,he's not a democrat,he's a dictator with no respect for the constitution and cannot even ensure the security of Nigerians. The politicians haven't been any better than the military administrators. Its so funny that the men in khaki uniform in the past are the ones who come back in agbadas as politicians too.

This is the time to bring some sanity into Nigerians. Time is running out!!!The economy is getting destroyed. A REVOLUTION MUST COME! Who leads if not the military???
