Nigerians by now must be familiar with the ways of the typical member of the police force. They do it to everyone of us, the moment you disobey any of the rules they want to take money off you.
Majority of Nigerians are used to the usual #20 servicing the policemen demand but the policeman in the picture has grown beyond peanuts.
Corruption has become part of life for almost every Nigerian. The man probably had no choice, maybe he should not have put himself in that position at all. He kept begging the policeman to take #2000 but the policeman blatantly refused and was clearly holding the Nigerian ransom.
That's life in Nigeria, this policeman has to be fished out and punished but then it's Nigeria. We will only see this and voice out against him but then justice might never be done. Are you not used to that already?
